It provides information about, and access to, the Nagar Pehchaan self-assessment system for owners of outdoor advertising sites and Municipal Corporations. It is not an official website of any government body unless expressly stated.
Whether registration is mandatory, and its deadlines, documents and fees, are decided by each Municipal Corporation under the law of its State. Where a Corporation's notification differs from anything on this website, the notification prevails. Nothing here is legal advice.
We collect what you give us (name, mobile number, email, agency details) and what you record about your sites (photographs, location, size, documents). We use this data ethically, under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, for: registering and verifying your sites with your Municipal Corporation; running, securing and improving the service; business purposes connected with the service; and training and improving our AI models. For AI training we use site-level data and remove or minimise personal identifiers wherever possible. We do not sell your personal data. Data is stored in India.
You may ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by writing to team@nagarpehchaan.com. Records your Municipal Corporation is required to keep by law may be retained.
We use only what the site needs to work, such as remembering your language and this acceptance.
The name, logo, design, text, software and concepts of Nagar Pehchaan belong to Kewal Kapoor and Chai Kreative. They may not be copied or used without written permission.
